Kolkata, Feb 3: A gang of burglars sneaked into a house in the posh township in the evening
And made off with cash and jewelry worth Rs,20 lac. The family heard nothing through the night
And only discovered the theft in the morning.
Monday’s burglary at CC-159, not far from the armed robbery in HB block 15 days ago, has shaken
Local residents. Abhijit Malick whose house was burgled is even thinking of moving out of the
Place. Police have found no trace of the gang yet. Neither could they establish any insider’s hand.
But evidence showed that the gang knew the keys to the house which were placed on top
Of a music system, nearest to a window. Bidhannagar police station is conducting raids to
