Boat Capsizes in the Ganga

Uluberia, 10th June 2014: In a grievous pontoon disaster, five people have suffocated in the Ganga at Bauria, two kilometers from Uluberia, yesterday at around 3.30 pm. The watercraft had left Bauria Mills Ghat with around thirty individuals and was setting out toward Billmoria Ghat on the inverse bank. The vessel was conveying travelers past its ability and it abruptly tilted and overturned in mid-stream. Three men and two ladies were suffocated, whose bodies have been angled out of the water. Indeed, even travelers are as yet absent. Two boatmen have swum shorewards. The greater part of the travelers has been protected by the neighborhood individuals and the coastguard. The look is continuing for the missing travelers. The police have grabbed the pontoon and captured the boatmen. A portion of the saved travelers has been sent to Uluberia Hospital. The police have begun an investigation into this vessel incident.
