Ans Devastating Flood in Midnapur

Midnapur, 25th July: Midnapur, 25th July: At least 150 people were killed and property of huge amount was washed away in a devastating flood over a large area of Midnapur district. Because of the overwhelming consistent precipitation since most recent three days, a couple of streams of the area were overflown. Accordingly, the quantity of towns was overflowed. Various trees were evacuated. No less than 100000 individuals have been influenced and around 20,000 villagers rendered destitutely. Cattles lost their lives weekly. The street connects between different spots has been cut off. The save operation has been begun by the Government and different intentional association. Helicopters are utilized to disseminate nourishment and others important things. Relief camps are made to give shelter to the affected people.
