Linker use in indirect Speech

Assertive Sentence-That

He said,”I do it”
He said that he did it.

Interrogative Sentence-if/weather
She said to Ram,”Do you know the way to the Market?”
She asked Ram if(Weather)he knew the way to the Market.

WH-questions used as a linker
I said the man,”What  are you doing?”
I asked the man what he was doing.

Imperative Sentence-to
Father said to me,”Go home at once.”
Father ordered me to go home at once.

Imperative With Let-That
We said,”Let him tell the story.”
We said that he might be allowed to tell the story.

Optative Sentence-that
I said to him,”May you be happy.”
I wished him that he might be happy.

Exclamatory  Sentence-That
He said to me.”Alash! I could not save you.”
He exclaimed in grief that he could not save me.
